I'm kind of surprised that Ma never did an aluminum blocked RB or Hemi, especially with the '64's having aluminum heads and Magnesium intakes.

Yeah, a 383 is cheaper than a 440 but costs the same to build while making less power when you're done. A difference of a couple hundred bucks on initial purchase is worth it to me.
I'm confused, I recently installed a stock AM/FM radio in my 70 Superbird. I used the AM bezel that is original to the car. There was no difference. What's up?
I know little, but I read that they used cheaper ballast and used track in rail yards. Track that that couldn't be trusted for mainline use. The ballast in the rail yard was sifted by me.
