Remove the valve cover and watch the action of the valves as they open and close during cranking.
You may notice the offending cylinder has one valve thats not opening and closing as compared to the other cylinders.

My take on it is that Chrysler didn't really see the need for aluminum. The Hemi was built primarily for NASCAR, where weight reduction didn't make as much sense, since the cars had minimum weights to meet anyway, so why spend the effort on lighter parts, only to have to add ballast later...
I think a good practice would be to buy cylinder heads from a machine shop that goes through them before they send them out. If your spending a thousand or 2 on heads. I think a few more hundred isn’t a big deal.
