Looking for a nice starter core that needs rebuilt.
It needs to be a late date 64 starter nose and back half.
Please post pictures and price if you have one.
What was the correct part # for the 65 A990 alternator?
2098830 or 2098860 or both were used?
The cars were produced between Nov. 64 and Jan. 65 based on what I have read.
Anyone have one that is correct for sale along with the original pulley?
Frank,
Where did you get your centers made or did you just have wheelsmith make your 15" wheels?
I know a guy in WI, Darrin Stankie that reproduces the 15x6 H rims for the 69 6PK cars. The 15x6 rims are drying up.
The wheelsmith 15x8's on your 65 look good.
Did the original A990 cars have the same style of wheel as on the max wedge cars with all the holes between the bolt holes for the caps?
If they are 15" centers then it would probably be correct.
Would just have to find someone that could attach the centers to nice 15" rims with the width I choose for the rear wheels. I would like to go with 8" width, which I know is not for period correct cars back then.
Thanks, I will call Kramer.
I have seen a few pictures of the guys that raced the max wedges and the A990 cars which had 15" rims on them.
I was wondering what these rims came off of back then.
What did the original wheel sizes for the factory max wedge and A990 cars/
What 15"steel rims were substituted for the factory ones back in the day for drag racing?
Any pictures would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I have a couple of questions.
1. What were the original horns used? Spartan or Prestolite or either one could be used?
I see mainly spartan on the 64 and back cars.
2. Who makes the rear quarter window seals and the front door seals that seals the area between the front part of the door with...
Thanks guys for the input.
Pat, you made a very unique wagon. Nice!
If anyone needs the rear quarter sedan window sections, Steve's Musclecar Parts is Arkansas had a 65 Dodge sedan shell that still had them.
