MoPar Nats is where it’s at.
Oriflow was the brand name for Chrysler. OEM was Monroe Shock, in Monroe., MI.
Monroe Shocks also made the MoParts line.
I believe the OEM from the factory color was black.
NOS shocks from MoPar were different colors, as you have been finding out.
Any "leaked" coolant through a drilled hole would go to the radiator...
Not what you want for a faster warm up.
MoPar thermostats I have seen have a small bleed hole already.
