    The VIN in the thread title indicates 440 (L) so it would be the 1969 727 093 transmission.

    You were right. 'They' were wrong. The only way to get a four speed behind a 440 or Hemi was in a package (A33 or A34. See package items above)...

    The term Trac PAC refers to the 3:54 Dana Four speed set up behind a 440 or Hemi.Again do you mean the A36 3:55 gear package that WAS available...

    Not by that name but you could get 3:55 gears behind a 318 in a 74 RR. (I have no idea WHY anyone would do that but you could order it)

    You will not be able to tie the VIN to the fender tag as the VIN is not on the tag. To identify the tag, you will need the sales order number....
