I got this car 30 years ago for graduating high school, it didn't look like this then lol. i drove it for about a year, went through 2 engines before buying a 71 road runner, at which point my parents took back possession of tis car and proceeded to make a drag car of it for the next 25+...

Ordered some wheels and of course they are on back order. 3 weeks later the due in date has been pushed back 2 more weeks, so I called the manufacturer, as they sell them direct but at a higher price, and they said it will be 4-6 more weeks and that wasn't a confident sounding answer :BangHead...
Please give me your opinions.
A week ago last Friday I took my 62 Savoy in for an alignment and pinion seal change. the Savoy is a factory /6 car and I put a 440 in it, that I freshened up and ran great.
I trailer it in and drop it off on my lunch for it's 1PM appointment, I go back at...

I was looking at my keys and wondered...how many others have cool or interesting keychains
I have the Darrell Gwynn piston for the truck and the equal length short tube header for the Savoy
Got off my butt this morning and decided to make that long (less than 10 minutes) drive to the Dragstrip for a couple hours. The smell of race gas and smoking slicks was pure heaven. Thought I'd share a few pics of the Mopars on the grounds and my buddies Camaro.

I have been wanting to do this for some time now, since I live on a busy state road. I want to take the old slant6 (provided I can't give it away) clean it up, paint it and install my mailbox on it where the carb would mount and use it for the mail. Anyone else have any cool ideas for or...
If anyone is interested in a free slant6, I have what you're looking for. It is the engine pulled from my 62 Savoy, it runs, is complete but the carb is junk. If you want it, come get it...or I see it being turned into my new mailbox :icon_fU:
what is the best way to remove the winshield including the chrome trim without damage or breaking. I need to replace the the cracked windshield in my 62 savoy with the good one that is in the donor/parts car
