The Charger hasn't been seeing much road time do to a few issues it's developed, me just not having the spare time and me being sick of fixing **** non stop. I had vapor lock issues that made me reluctant to drive it but thanks to my wife's generous gift (fuel system upgrade) that has been...
I've had a love for electric guitars since the 80's and always wanted to give it a shot, I finally did. Started off cheap figuring I wouldn't stick with it and bought a new Jackson js22 and a Marketplace Peavey Vypr3 amp. I've since upgraded to an LTD MH1000 and a Marshall dsl40cr amp, I should...
After trying phenolic spacers and insulating the fuel lines with some degree of success I've decided to throw everything at the problem. I'll try to post everything and check back once I start putting some miles on it for those who are having the same issues.
As of right now my car does pretty...
The parts are ordered so work will commence soon just looking to see if there's any interest in me doing a thread on the matter. I've put 19,000 miles on the car starting with basically the plain ordinary parts then added a phenolic spacer, insulated the fuel line and now will do a full fuel...
Just curious what the thoughts were regarding aluminum fuel lines mostly in regards to today's fuels? I'm getting ready to replumb my fuel system and really don't like the idea of running any form of hose from front to back for the simple fact that you have to fasten it down so frequently to get...
I have 2 tanks to sell, one I picked up brand new as a scratch and dent so it's never been used and the other is soon to be removed from the car. The one that's in the car presently was bought new and has 20,000 worth of use on it but is painted black, the new one has bent corners. Sending unit...
I'm finally going to squash this vapor lock issue but wanted to see if anyone has installed one and can provide some input. This is going to be stupid expensive, $900 ish to convert to an EFI tank, in tank pump, return style regulator, plumbing, blah, blah. My question is exactly what makes the...
I picked up this grill for a 72 Satellite I'm working on but it takes different brackets, what am I looking for? I tried Google searches and it keeps bringing up the Satellite brackets? Looks like there should be at least 3 brackets behind the grill.
Most that remember me from my Charger build remember my sidekick daughter, she's always been a daddy's girl and just like her dad she had to have one so here it is. Once everything is prefitted it's getting stripped down to nothing and going on the rotisserie for a full rebuild.
The plan...
Finally had my first significant breakdown on the Charger, thowout bearing seized, spun the guts and out came the fluid. Since I put this transmission in by sliding under the car with it on my chest I thought I've got a lift now.. no problem WRONG! Damn is it heavier than I remember, I'm sure...
This one is for the wife but hey.. more stuff that can be unloaded from mine:thumbsup:. It will be 24'×28' with a bedroom above, 2' of stone wall then sided in poplar.
Thought some of you would enjoy seeing this rather unusual technique for using natural stones gathered from our woods. Last...
Anybody ever try one of these? Pretty sure Tanks Inc is the supplier, looks like a nice setup for the money?

Figured since I've been away a lot I'd share one of the projects that has been keeping me busy when I have time. Finally finished the bumpers and got the two tone on it.. looking finished now with only a few small things to go. The rear bumper is a 2010 Ram bumper with significant mods, the...
I've got a renovation project going on at work but ran into an issue, the office floor is 3/4" plywood over a concrete slab then 3/4" oak over it but the bathroom is bad! Evidently the toilet ring leaked but the water went under the oak floor out of sight and destroyed the plywood leaving no...
When I first took this job (Maintenance) I was horrified with what I saw, these poor souls had a cobbled up Craftsman drill press, a couple grinders, a Hobart arc welder, a set of torches and an incomplete set of tools! They never got new metal but instead kept all of the old equipment and parts...
I'm pretty sure I've done a thread like this but couldn't find it so here we go again.
With several years of driving my Charger under my belt I'm down to only one small pet peeve.. the dreaded vapor lock. Before anyone suggest insulating the carb, lines, etc it's all been done and cured almost...
I decided to load up the bikes and hit a motorcross track with my boy before the weather shifted and boy was that a blast!! He's been saying he's ready and that he wants to race so no better way to humble him than put him on a track, he's been humbled.
Me on the other hand.. damn do I want...
Just a few months ago I decided I was going to roof my house myself after seeing the quotes... Nope not happening! Last week I crawled up on dad's roof to find a leak, it was shot, the whole thing needed replaced and it being dad I wasn't about to tell him to hire it out but I sure as hell am...
Just wanting to pick some brains.. I've got a Massey Ferguson 65 that's driving me mad! I bought it last year with the intentions of completely rebuilding it this winter but have some brush hogging to finish first.
Between it and the TO30 I just sold I've had nothing but ignition problems from...
My daughter really wanted taken to her homecoming in the Charger so I put a last minute thrash in and got it done! Man do I wish she would slow down, can't imagine her moving out in a few years.. be a sad day for me.
