One thing I have noticed is that the old school big block really didn't notice how many butts were in the seat and this 392 Hemi seems to bog a little with more than 2 people in it. And the gas pedal seems to have a delayed reaction when compared to the crisp response of a throttle cable...
Thanks to all for the compliments.
I have to say that I was not trying to start any debates on old or new school muscle. All I said was I was enjoying this car and still stoked on working on my old charger. Yes, the challenger is heavier than my 73 charger and parker next to each other it...
Hey guys! I am still around reading your posts and waiting for my time to work on the charger. I am thinking a lot of you thought I would be history after the challenger purchase but could not be more inspiring to get the charger done when kids are a little older. As for the 2016 challenger 6.4...
Guys, I am not sure about completing the project, I hope I do! I am just not feeling as good as I use to and I am tired of always waiting for tomorrow to be my day. I gotta say as a whole package so far I love it. Yes I still like my old school brutes and they are a blast to own and drive but...
Just bought a 2016 dodge challenger 392 RT scatpack plus shaker in go mango Orange. This is a nice car to cruise with power to spare. The charger was taking too long and I haven't been feeling as good as I use to, so I wanted to have some fun now.
Welcome! looks like your running 2008 or there about rims from a charger/challenger, how is the fit? running wheel spacers? front disc brakes? have been wondering if this would be good for my 73 since these rims are reasonable and plentiful.
I will need to replace brake and fuel lines over the winter. This is a 73 charger with what appears to be all original lines. I do not even see any splice or partial fixes to any line. All recommendations welcome. I have looked on line at kits and the sky is the limit. I just want driver quality...
I am still against powder coating some pieces for cars. Engine brackets and such not bad but suspension parts under torque and flex just worries me. for the price I think you could do better than powder coat. I was in the powder industries for about 20 years. powdered lots of my own stuff and...
I agree all the common part interchange has been covered. however I have a passenger side fender on my 73 charger that fits nice all except the sheet metal that is spot welded to the fender and bolts to the core support for the head light assembly to bolt to. I can tell It has been modified but...
Got the carpet from stock interiors today. The price was 138.00 shipped. It arrived in a ACC box. So I guess they buys some of their stock from ACC and Sell it cheaper? I have to say it looks like its already been in a car for a year. Its pretty dirty with carpet fibers. Not sure if I should...
