This truck came with an odd setup it had a quadrajet with a dual pickup pickup coil. I converted it to a single pickup coil distributor with standard Mopar electronic ignition

Yes it’s a Chrysler setup. Originally had a dual pickup distributor with a 2 post ballast. I jumped across it to test and it didn’t make much difference at the time.

Late on the update but as it turns out there was a menagerie of issues going on. Pickup coil gap wrong, no 12V supply on ignition 1 run side of the ballast plus some other bad grounds and mice chewed wiring.
