    512 Low Deck Street-Strip build

I'm definently impressed by the trickflows. I run the 270s, they're a max wedge type head. Flow great right out of the box and are pretty reasonably priced.

    512 Low Deck Street-Strip build

I'm running a 512 in a 66 Coronet. 12.4 compression, hughes 268/272 solid cam, hughes 1.6 rockers, trick flow 270 heads, Super victor intake and a small 850 carb. 2in TTI headers, 3in exhaust. Ran a 10.46 at 129 first day out. Use pump gas for street and mix 110 50/50 at track. Very steetable...

    MSD minimum cranking rpm

Just to update this post, we did install a mini starter and it fires up. I know of several mopars that the msd works fine with stock starter, unsure why this one is different. The original starter seemed to turn over normal speed.

    MSD minimum cranking rpm

Its been too cold to work on it lately. We did hook heavy red and switched red directly to battery. And also hooked ground directly to battery. I haven't tried grounding the white wire yet. I will try that when it warms up. Thanks again!

    MSD minimum cranking rpm

Thanks for the replies! Cranking voltage is about 11 volts, checked for voltage to module during cranking, battery voltage. Checked for voltage to positive coil during cranking, ok, no pulse on negative side. When I pull distributor and spin it, it won't spark when I turn at slower speed, which...

    MSD minimum cranking rpm

A friend of mine switched to a 6al and has no spark. If we pull the distributor and spin it by hand it makes spark. We have double checked everything and even swapped out module and distributor out of my 440. This is a high compression hemi with stock starter. My 440has a mini starter I'm...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

I'm curious why. Mine seem to transmit a lot of engine vibration.

Need help!- Low comp 440 cam choice.

I used a comp camXE268H in a low compression 440 worked well. I used a whiplash in a low compression 400. It made ok power but idle quality sucked and didn't make enough vacuum for power brakes.

    Engine Bay Paint

An engine bay painted black is a deal breaker for me. I just seen a dart that was painted under hood with bed liner.

What carb to choose? Mostly stock 440 GTX

I installed a street demon on my 400 this weekend. Throttle response and driveability is awesome. It did take some tuning though. Now if I can get the darn choke to work right.....

    Speedo gear

Hey guys, working on a 77 Cordoba. Changed rear gear from a 2.45 to a 3.73. Speedometer reads 95 when going 60mph. I need to change speedo gear, but I have the one with the plastic housing. Does anybody know a source for these, or do I need to convert it to older style. Thanks in advance, Bryan

    Another fuel tank swap question

The straps are the same. The sender mounting on the c21a is at a slightly different angle so it is necessary to bend the pickup tube and float down. Hopefully it will read full when I full it.

    Another fuel tank swap question

I'm going to order a CR21A tank for my 77 Cordoba. Will the existing fuel sender work in the smaller tank? If not does anyone no the part number to the correct one. Thanks, Bryan
