Congratulations on you graduation! I did the same thing with my '68 Camaro, 1978.

I washed the Roadruster, and took it out for a nice, easy drive. Filled it up with premium @ $3.46/gal. Never took it over 4k rpm. I must not have been feeling well LOL
Exactly they way I feel about the deck lid to tail panel. I think the wing detracts from the clean line, too. I don't want one on my 70. HOWEVER, if mine came with one from the factory, I would make sure it was there, even though I am not the purist type.
The bottom line is it is your car and...
Sorry for taking so long to respond...
Okie doke, that's fine...My RR came with a bench seat, but I sure don't know what happened to the original shifter handle...
Are you still interested in selling the pistol grip you have? It's a little bit shorter than the '70 B-body, but it will work for...
MNBiker, I can't get the pics to download to my computer. Something wrong with computer. But I can email you the pics if you want to send me your email in a PM...

Cool. I don't want to have to drill the shifter to accommodate a bolt-in style only, and would just as soon use the push in style. I realize that the one you have isn't the correct one for a 70 RR, but I'll rather have one that is too short than too long...I won't be able to get a pic of my...
I had the same rad in my 70 RR, 383 4-speed, 4.56 gear. I had major cooling issues. The car ran at about 200-210 degrees all the time. I bought a Champion aluminum radiator, 23'', 3-row, from Oscars Radiator in Phoenix. Oscars rads are cheaper than what Champion charges for them. Anyway, I...
The only way to tell is run 'em down the track and see where you at top gear redline. It may be a little too much gear, as some guys are saying. 4.10's would probably be just about right.
I have been looking for the correct pistol grip shifter handle, non-console, snap-in style, 1970 Roadrunner. My computer was down for a week and I missed out on the perfect deal.... http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?52011-B-E-body-pistol-grip&highlight=pistol+grip

The bottom line to quitting is that you must truly want to quit. This is the third time I've quit. I usually go about ten years before I start up again - I know, dumb...Anyway, I am now six weeks tobacco-free and have no cravings whatsoever. I don't miss it.
Good luck trying to quit. Keep...
I cleaned my Eddy Street Dominator manifold with a toothbrush. Removed about 40 years of grease and grime. It didn't even look like an aluminum manifold before, but it sure does now. It's not brand new looking, but it's a WHOLE lot better. The only problem is it makes the rest of the motor look...
Spent a few hours researching how to adjust my Hurst 4 speed as I waited for the sun to come up. Finally get underneath the car and find there are no stop bolts on this shifter. It seems like it could go 'further' into second gear and not want to pop out....On the bright side, I found the nut on...

Ha! That's too funny! That's about the same way I operate. I don't mean to, it just happens.
Oh, and the seats look great, btw!
Are you thinking of the movie "Death Proof" with Kurt Russell playing a psycho killer? His first car was a Nova, IIRC, and his second car is a Charger...Great car scenes, for sure!
