That's what happens when you're out of the loop and don't know all the facts. His 1st pass was 8.57 with the torqueflite and then tried a Powerglide and it didn't work and the converter was way too tight. I've photographed him many a time going mid 8's. And it wasn't in mindshaft air...

The density altitude was -138 feet at Etown on Sunday. So that's a 9.90+ at Lebanon Valley.

Here's a beautiful 65 Dodge Coronet owned by Ralph. Ralph also races a real nice 62 Plymouth named Darth Vader sometimes. He goes by the name *** man. Runs high 9's NENDRA has some beautiful cars running this year.
