Interesting Craigslist '67 Belvedere for sale.

Thanks for coming out and the kind words! Very nice of you to take the time to travel and share the listing here. My brother and I went to Mopars in the Park Saturday and it has me leaning towards keeping it. We had a house fire right after the suspension rebuild had begun that required my...

    67 GTX Hood Scoops Functional?

I'm working on a 67 Belvedere that came with a ton of original GTX stuff. The hood is pretty much perfect and assumed it was GTX but the scoops are blocked off in front and there's no cut outs in the hood underneath. Were the originals functional?

Help me save my 68 Charger

I agree with everyone else that the car needs to be stripped to the shell to go after the frame, floor, and roof issues. I work in Coon Rapids if you need a hand pushing or dragging the car into the garage. edit: Looks like you posted while I was typing. Sounds like you have a plan and...

    30" Tires on 67 Belvedere?

I've been doing a lot of searching. To get to the 29" tall tire a 235/75-15 uses a 6-7"wheel but has a section width of 9.4". I'm going with steelies for wheels that will keep the cost down, but to match the centers front to back I'll need to have them made anyways so I can set the offset to...

    30" Tires on 67 Belvedere?

Thanks Gary, I've been looking at Coker. Are you close to rubbing at all on the front? If I go with a 7" wheel would you recommend moving it in or out from your position? Doug

    30" Tires on 67 Belvedere?

I went with the MT 315/60-15s on the back and it looks like they'll easily fit with the rear pushed back an inch. I like the look of the 29" tall fronts but not sure if I want to run the skinnies on the street. Anyone know the limitations on tire sizes or backspacing for the fronts? It's...

    30" Tires on 67 Belvedere?

I don't have the rear housing yet so setting the pinion angle won't be an issue. Need my wheels and tires so I can get measurements for the Dana. Haven't ordered the leafs because I want to see how the wheels fit and where they'll fit to get the right forward spring length. Hemmings did a...

    30" Tires on 67 Belvedere?

I'm currently in the middle of doing a mini tub on a 67 Belvedere. 15x10 steel wheels have been ordered from Stockton and I'm ready to order tires. I've saved pictures and read threads about tire sizes for 2 years. My goal is nasty redneck early 70s Superstockish. I see cars I like but...

What comes first? Wheels or Rear end?

I'm in the process of doing a leaf relocation and mini tub on a 67 Belvedere and assumed I'd get the wheels and tires then measure for the rear housing and axels. I'm reading some other builds that people are cutting down the housing to fit the new leaf location then buying wheels to fit.

    Superstock springs

Is there an advantage to having the shorter forward section?
