Hey gang, did not know exactly where to post this. Might even be more appropriate for a Power Wagon or Dodge truck forum. Anyway, I looked all over for the stamped DODGE typeface for the old school vehicles. Dodger font looks right for new stuff.
Created this using Kraftfahrzeugkennzeichen font...
This dude did a pretty skookum job of installing an Omni rack in one of his cars. Seems like a good little bit of fab work to add it to a K member. Has some good geometry tips in there too. Three parts.
Also, read in one of the places that sells the Omni units that the racks they sell can only...
What happened to the 3x2 dual-plane intake manifolds for 318s? The usual suspects show the MOPAR Performance part as discontinued (the ones that don't say that seem suspect). eBay does not even show the Edelbrock used varieties now. An Edelbrock cast iron 3x2 was floating around for a while...
Somewhat off the beaten path here, but what about body plugs? I can't quite figure out why they are in the floor pan, other than for letting prime out of bodies that were dipped at the factory. Once the floor pad and carpet is in there, good luck getting the plug out to remove water from a...
When you put the bigger valves in, do you need to cut a new seat?
On the prowl now for a set of 302 or 308 heads. Initial looks at local junk yards are not promising :(
So now that I know I can go 10" wide front and back (no extra stress on wheel bearings with 5" to 5.25" backspace?), all I need to figure out how tall I can go. The Magnum 500 wheels I like only go to 9.5" wide and I think 18" tall is about as tall as I can go and still look good.
Correction...
I was just contemplating how big I can go with my '72 Charger. Would like to do 18x9.5 wheels with maybe 295s on the back and 18x8 with 295s on the front, but not sure if either will fit. I need to get a better handle on this measuring stuff before I buy anything.
Edit: And am still fuzzy...
Variant on 5, I think. Clean it up, phosphoric acid rust remover, two-part epoxy primer, bed liner for undercoat. POR makes a water born (I think) bed liner, would use a bed liner with some kind of rust prevention property.
This one beats the other top stupid candidate I saw today. CL seller had asbestos gloves for $5000. Actually, he said "glove" but there was a pair in the picture.
This is probably way off base, and 10x the price, but I saw the boys at Roadkill install one of these and it is probably what I will be going with on my A904, one of these days well beyond the horizon.

That link should go to the version for a manual...
This thread answered a lot of questions for me. Even if I keep my exhaust manifolds for a future break-in, the ceramic is just going to come off in a year or so anyway.
Too bad TTI does not make them in 304 Stainless with ceramic/thermal coating, that would be awesome. Stainlessheaders.com is...
Looks like searching for Direct Connection part 2836139 reveals some good results. Hopefully one of those lines up with a 318 better than the newer ones.
I am doing some preliminary shopping for a 4bbl intake for my 1972 318 LA. Notice the MOPAR Performance part says the ports are for a 340 and won't line up with 318 heads right. Do the Edelbrocks fit any better?
There is an Edelbrock LD4B on eBay right now for $199+ship in case anybody is in...
Still will be a while before I get this fuel line cleaned out and then check what else I need to fuss with fuel system wise, so don't know when/if I'll need a canister for a while. Will check back in if I do need it for sure.
