I'm just throwing this out there in case it helps someone out . I've had this issue for about a year , being too stubborn to seek competent help . My car would turn over and I found spark all the way to the coil but not to the distributor . I replaced pretty much everything in the ignition...

Why would the engine turn over with the key in the ' ON ' position ? Making me nuts...:eusa_doh:

How about a list of gremlins ( sorry AMC guys ) that could cause an overheating problem . If you know some of the causes you might find it easier to find a cure .

How about some ideas , tried and true hopefully , on upgrading the old Mopar systems that make the ampmeter needle dance , lights dim , etc . Parts and steps to take would be a good starting point .
