    studs remover tool

Getting read to install Hedman shorty headers on my 71 charger w383 and 906 heads. What is the best/easiest tool you can buy to remove the stock exhaust manifold studs from the heads? I've already read about heating the studs up with a torch beforehand so I'll be doing that as well.

We didn't have the green thing back in our day....

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment. The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days."...

    Anybody tow with their B-Body???

I know this might be a crazy or stupid idea but I'm just wondering if anybody tows with their B Body? I'm talking around 2k pounds. No more than 3k. I'm really itching to buy some type of pop-up camper or small light weight RV trailer for weekend trips to the beach. I'm only about 10 miles...

    Jack's back!!!

I'm really happy to see that one of my all time favorite TV series "24" is coming back on May 5th. I also find it kind of ironic the new series starts right after that show "The Following" ends. The most bad *** federal agent ever (Jack Bauer) is replacing one of the most inept federal agents...

    COPARTS salvaged vehicle auctions

http://www.copart.com/c2/copart_home_page.html I came accross the website above and did as much research as I could to figure out how it works, but still came away with some questions. For instance, every state has different rules as to who can bid on vehicles. Some states private...

    Broken Axle or Differential?

Broken Axle or Diff? I had a thread in the brake section, but that's not the problem lol. Its a 71 Charger with an open diff 2.45 ratio 8.25 axle. I still have to take it apart to find exactly what's broken but I'm hoping an expert here will tell me what's broken so I can get a head start...

    Stuck Rear Drum Brake

Bought my 71 Charger a few years ago and came with 4 wheel manual drum brakes. When I bought the car, the left rear wheel was frozen. At the time it wasn't a big deal as I was doing a resto anyway. We got it off the flatbed tow truck into my garage by putting the left rear wheel on a...

Need close up pic of sending unit

Help! I need a close up pic of a fuel tank sending unit. Removed my tank yesterday to clean up and flush and it appears the previous owner removed the screw for the gauge sending unit and covered the hole with some type of epoxy. I don't want to buy a whole new sending unit and I'm sure I can...

71 Charger Door Glass Bumper stop

My 71 Charger seems to be missing one of the big black rubber door glass stops that goes in the bottom of the door to prevent the glass from being rolled down to far. I've done a little research trying to find repro's from the usual vendors and came up with nothing. Anybody know where to buy...

    71 Charger - finally painted!

Finally got her painted after 3 years, woohoo. It took longer than expected because of the usual reasons (time, tools, money, motivation). The color is Sherwin Williams AWX waterborne pearl white. It's hard to tell from the pics, but there are nice color transitions in the different shades of...

    Pitted roof 71 Charger

I've been dreading getting to work on the roof and now I know why. Car originally had canopy top vinyl roof and somebody decided to take it off for whatever reason and slap some putty over the pitts and prime it up. Just wondering what your recommendations are since new roof skins and chrome...

    SSBC Booster/Master Cyliner setup

I'm converting my 71 Charger to power front disc brakes and I'm wondering if anybody has used the setup in the picture below. It seems the majority of the conversion kits on the market use the setup with the large offset bracket and uses an L shaped arm on a pivot that connects the booster rod...
