Thanks Mark My father has that exact hood as a spare that I can have, but I was hoping to not have a hood scoop. I have just purchased a car timing cover and intake. just waiting on the shipping and I should be good.

I test fit the hood yesterday and I have maybe 1/4" between the throttle body and the hood. the tranny is not hooked up yet so it could change the angle slightly and I could gain a little or loose that 1/4" lol

well......I talked with Chris at Hotwire Auto. Awesome guy! i think he set me straight with the transmission controller and kick down. Chris also said that I have the correct throttle body The only issue I have right now is that the throttle body is to tall. Has anyone else run into this issue?
