As to your question there are quite a few places you can decode the VIN. The second letter being an 'S' denotes an R/T so those are keepers.. ;)
Is there any problem using the stock booster from the swap donor? I, like the OP, am doing a disc brake upgrade and have EVERYTHING from the 73-76 donor A-body... Including the master and booster.
A lot of people that hoard cars and never fix them really believe they want to fix them.. "some day". I've seen it a lot personally and its sad when it never happens. But like one poster said, these cars will likely outlive all of us as long as they aren't in a harsh environment. So someday...
