Hello everyone,
So, this has probably been covered to death, but I'm searching for someone who
may have had to deal with the same issue I have and can lend some advice. On the
'63 the motor has 906 heads, some unknown type of headers ( no markings, on the
car when I got it ) and Remflex header...
Does anyone know who's making the distributors that Mancini and others are
selling as Mopar Performance Distributors. It looks to me like they might be
Proform but not 100% on that. Also, what type of internal mechanical advance
mechanism do they have?
Thanks. RR
Good evening. Wondering if anyone has a diagram or explanation of the orientation
of the 1/4-20 cage nuts that are used in the radiator side straps for attaching the fan
shroud. Thank you. RR
Anyone here ever replace the front to rear steel fuel line on an early B-body without
a lift? Is it doable? I'm guessing the hardest part of installation is where it crosses from
the inner rocker to the inside of the frame. Thanks for any input.
Good evening to all. Does anyone have a picture or a schematic of the
correct way to install the brake pedal return spring on a '62-'65 b-body?
I have an FSM but I don't see any reference in there.
Thank you.

Here I am with another question for the '62 - '65 knowledge base. It has to do with side
glass adjustment on the '63 hardtop. How much range of motion is there in the down stops
for the side glass. I'm trying to determine whether or not I can replace the outside window
sweeps with the glass in...
"Hello boys, I'm baaack".
Has anyone out there replaced the roof rail weatherstrip on a '63 B body hardtop,
and if so, any recommendations on replacement vendors and also how to get the old one out.
My old weatherstrip is so cracked and torn that I'm not sure how it's installed and
more to the...
Hi again. Any one out there in B-body land have any positive experiences
ordering a aftermarket perforated headliner. My need is for the '63 but I
expect quality would be quality no matter the year.
Thanks.
RR
Hello again.
Has anyone out there in Mopar land used studs instead of bolts for fastening headers to a
440 block. If so, what make did you wind up using. I know ARP makes a set that might
work but they’re super $$$.
Thanks,
RR
Hey guys. I’ve got a headlight issue w/ the ‘63 Plymouth that’s giving me fits. Let me start at the beginning. About a week ago I fired the car up to head to coffee w/ the boys and noticed I had no low beam headlights. When I hit the dimmer switch I had high beams all 4 lights are on. Well Ok...
This question is for all the early B-body owners. I'm having trouble getting the
small light that illuminates the shift buttons to work on the '63. I'm pretty sure that my issue
is grounding. I have continuity to the unit and the heater button light is working
( it's off the same orange wire )...
I'm baaack!
Has anyone out in B-Body land used a Lokar kick down cable on a '62-'65 cable
shifted torqueflite? I know they originally used an elaborate bell crank and rod set
but since I don't have one of those and I do have a Lokar set up I was hoping
someone had previously done this and could...
I am looking to buy a park cable lever off either a 1962 or 1963 Plymouth B-body.
This is the offset lever that's bolted to the side of the dash push button mechanism.
The correct one has about an 1 1/2" 90 degree offset.
If there's not one available perhaps someone who has one would forward...
Hi guys, I'm back.
A question for the '62-'63 Plymouth experts. Behind the instrument cluster, covering
both the heater and shift push buttons are pieces of heavy felt like material. Both
pieces have an excess amount of the material on one side. My question is, does the
excess material go on the...
Hey all you '62-'63 B-body owners.
Anyone out there who has replaced the factory steel tank to fuel pump line. I'd
like to replace the stock line with direct replacement 3/8 line. Can that be done
without a lot of underbody disassembly??
Thank you.
Hi all. Happy 4th.
I was wondering if there are any owners of '62-'65 B bodies who have successfully
used a Lokar or similar trans kickdown cable on a cable shift TF 727. I know they
originally used a rod setup for kick down purposes but since I have a Lokar kick down
cable available I was...
Hi. I'm looking to buy the rectangular cover that fastens to the underside of the
tail shaft on a '62-'65 Torqueflite. It's the cover that the push button park cable
is attached to. Also need a cable lock bolt. Thank you.
A good weekend to everyone out there. I'm looking for a diagram/ parts break down of everything thats needed to install the park cable on the underside of the tailshaft
housing on a '63 cable shift TF ( cover, etc. ).
Thank you.
