Just curious, if you were building a rear by narrowing it and putting together the gears would you use an 8.75 or a 9.25? Which would be stronger? Or which would you choose and why? I just happened to have the parts for both. Thanks Ron

Thanks Guys. I forgot to give enough info. The dart has a 440 stroked to 540, in front of a J&W Auto Trans driving a narrowed 8.75 with 4:30 gears and Dutchman axles.

I need to have a custom drive shaft made and want to do it right the first time. What size Trans yoke and what size rear end yoke should I use in the making of my shaft? Thanks Ron

Just finished installing my Headers on the 68 Dart with a 540 stroked engine. It has Elephant ears for mounts. The problem is that #6 Plug clearance is not enough to allow a regular size spark plug. Are there shorties available to fix my problem? My engine is 10.5 to 1 with a 557 lift purple...

What is a good mini starter for my 540 ? I was trying to recall a post about a mini starter from Auto Zone that someone was using that had good torque and worked well on their big block. Can anyone help with this? Thanmks Ron
