Does anyone know what size (part number) for the upper ball joint in a Firm Feel upper control arm?
For some reason my passenger side wore out quickly. I ordered a Moog K772 - but it is WAY too small.
I have a similar build with a dual 3" exhaust and dynomax mufflers. While it sounds great idling and under load, I can't stand the drone while on the highway. I've been considering adding some resonators after the mufflers, but just before the exhaust tips.
Not sure if anyone has done this, but...
I have the Borgeson steering box in my car and I really enjoy it. It provides much more modern steering and room between the headers and steering box - which I needed.
I took my car to a road racing school last weekend and it performed very well. Most of the modern car guys were very impressed...

I see that the bolt pattern on a new Dodge Charger / Challenger is 5 x 4.5 which is the same as our old Mopars - so I'm assuming that they might just slip over the hub. Fabricating a bracket to hold the caliper shouldn't be too difficult.

Just curious if anyone has fitted up a set of the late model Challenger brakes to their old B body?
I see that I can buy an used set for a reasonable price - but don't know if they'll even fit.

I installed a Hydroboost kit and it made my brakes feel a LOT more responsive. I had to use a booster because my camshaft makes too little vacuum to run the factory booster setup.
On the down side, I find that my steering pump gets rather hot and pukes fluid out of the filler... still can't...

Just got back from a driving school that I took part in over the weekend. While there were some super nice current cars at the track like Porsche's, Corvette's, ZL1 Camaro's, Vipers, BMW's, Audi's and civics - my 69 Dodge did pretty well. My car has some simple parts to make it go...
Dumb question I'm sure, but did you ever do a wiring diagram or pictures of your igntion wiring conversion (IGN 1 tied to IGN 2)? I'm wondering if this is a fix for my Fast EFI to keep power going to the small display centre that needs constant power between crank and run.
Looks good, but no the hinges on the b body are exposed inside the engine compartment. Unfortunately I don't have hinges that will fit up to my fiberglass hood. Time to get inventive.
