Just finished mini tubbing and relocate the springs on my 64 belvedere.
Moved the axle back about 1/2 inch, but I kind of think it looks odd, or is my brain just messing with me.
Tires are 29x15r15
Looking for real life experience on this.
I'm in the process of mini tubbing/ relocate springs on my 64 Belvedere.
Will have 16.5" from frame to fender lip. I can cut down the lip some if needed for even more clearance.
Tires are crazy expensive to get to Sweden these days so just wanna do this...
Curious about if I will lowering my et by switching to a single plane intake?
What's your thoughts about this?
I know that the rpm intake is pretty good.
Current combo is:
440 stock stroke/bore
E-street heads ( light port/valve job)
Perf rpm intake ( ported to match the heads ports)
850 dp qf...
Had my 3400lbs ss springs for about 3-4 years.
The car has developed a lean to the right that's getting worse.
I have tried to correct it by putting more tension on the front right torsion bar.
The car leans about 1.6 ", and the scales show almost 220lbs more weight on the right front tire than...
I'm having a hard time selecting a solid flat tappet cam. Anyone has any good real life experience they want to share?
My engine feel sluggish after 5000rpm and I have my mind set swaping my hydraulic cam for a solid instead.
Want to get down to 11s at the quarter without nitrous.
This car is...
Where can I find information like options, what dealer ship that sold my car, production plant etc?
The car is a Plymouth Belvedere 1964 2drht.
Would be awsome to know som history about it.
This car went to Sweden in 2014.
I thinking of getting some lettering done to it, and would be awsome to...
I believe my car has 11.9s in it without nitrous, but it just feel slow after 5000rpm during racing so I just shifts around 4800-5200rpm. I can't figure out why?
Any ideas?

This would be the last upgrade to my engine (if I do it), before I go a different route in a couple of years from now.
Is it worth the money going to a solid roller, Trying different dyno programs and a the solid roller would give me some 50-75hp more than my hydraulic flat tappet.
I´m leaning...
Can anyone please help me!
Should the weather strip be cut or dented inwards where the vent window pivot bar is?
The doorpanels are brand new and came with the seal already installed.
Hi, I'm at the point where I am going to install the new door panels in my 64 2dr ht belvedere.
The old panels were home made by someone in the USA and there is only a few clips left and 2 different kinds of clips as well.
What kind of clips and measurements should it be?
And how many clips...
Im in the process of putting these on my 440.
The rockers seems to be ok, but the shafts is another story.
Will probably use my stock shafts.
The oiling holes are way off, at the same angle as the bolt holes and smaller than the holes in the stock shafts.
Engine: 440, ported/milled 452 heads, comp xe284h cam, about 8,3 comp ratio, edl rpm intake, 1 3/4 full length headers, 3" exhaust.
Like the walker muffler, the bad drone is gone, and so much nicer sound
Anyone here that will follow or race in this event?
Me and my brother with some other friends will fly from Sweden and follow this event the hole week.
I've read somewhere that the gates 20355 is the hose to use on a 64 b body with big block,
As you can se it is way to short.
The radiator part no is listed as b body 318 1964 radiator.
The car had 383 from the factory, now 440.
Does anyone know which hose will fit?

I have a white belvedere 64 with red interior, in what color should the headliner be from the factory?
I've seen both red and white headliners with red interior.
Thanks!
Not sure if I posted this in the right section, but here it goes.
Question for those who have done business with SMS auto.
How long has it take to get door panels from this company? Are they to be trusted?
Reason I ask is because I ordered front and rear door panels for my belvedere 64 in...
