For example, here is the 69 RR barn find I've been working on the last 6 years. about 7k in parts and supplies so far and if I charged by the hour for what I charge for my time working in real world it would probably be way over 50k. Much work to be done and I'm just trying to make a...
When I was a kid I put a 440 in a 74 charger that originally had 318. Of course besides the bb trans. I used 400 bb motor mounts it also needed a different oil pan.
One thing that kinda annoyed the folks with them from the beginning: Frieburger said he would keep a full episode free on motortrend a month behind new ones. But they haven't kept up on it. The episode hasn't been updated in months. I could pay for it but there's enough free stuff out there...
Yeah I went through the aftermarket radiator thing so I feel for you. My project car didn't have a radiator and had a 440 in it. The stock fan clutch was too long so had to get a special fan clutch. And I couldn't find a lower hose that fit just right but made one work. haven't even tried to...
I first seen them I guess 2012 on YouTube. I think they were rescuing a convertible from Rick Pewe's back yard. Then they had a show called Roadkill. Then They got sponsored by Dodge. Then Motortrend wanted to make some real money off them so I quit watching. I do watch Finnegan's garage...
This is a 69 but I think the starter relay is the same. Wire 54-188R goes to neutral safety switch. I also had a Key switch break internally once. This relay should be on the firewall near brake master cylinder.
I still haven't found that thin steel plate that goes in a 69 steering column and all the little parts that gone with it. All i know is I put them together in a bag and put them somewhere I would not forget in my garage. Well, it was fun looking for them for a long time I finally bought a...
Last drive in I was at was Mustang in St Pete FL and Pet Sematary was playing late 80's. She had a new Hyundai we did it but it wasn't easy! ha ha. I was smuggled in another drive in the trunk of a 72 charger early 80's. The other kid in there we hated each other and started fighting cause they...
Not a Mopar but my commuter car is pretty fast. 2007 Shelby gt500. Probably around 600hp with all the mods. Runs mid 10's.I guess not very fast compared to some of the posts. But damn its a fun car to drive even though a ford.
My company manufactures and packs food so no doors closing here. About 400 employees. There is only one guys and girls restroom now because Mgt. closed off front offices to keep regular employees out for protection against virus. Moral is very grim because some have fell sick and people work on...
Ro and I knew we were soulmates the minute we met. We have been together 16yrs. We'll probably be one of those couples that if one dies the other will die soon after.
I'll be in the swap area sat morning walking around looking for parts. I am so busy looking for stuff I don't even get to see all the cars. Got some good deals last year.
My mom used to tell me about a couple kids in her neighborhood that died. They were cleaning a garage floor with gas and one of them flipped the light on and it ignited.
I gave a machinist parts from a 3 phase on off switch shaft that broke the other day because it was plastic. He made a replacement with the original parts and he modified the end that went in the contact block. I wish I had a pic because it was ingenious. I would have never thought of doing what...
