I need 2 stock style steel wheels for a '66 Belvedere II. The ones with the larger inner diameter for dog dish caps to match the wheels on the car now. Preferably someone fairly close--I'm in NW Indiana.
**They measure 7” overall width, 5x4.5” bolt pattern.
I've been chasing a high speed vibration--it starts about 60 mph and stays there up to 80 mph. If you throw it in neutral at that speed, the vibration stays. New tires, all balanced, rebuilt front end and aligned. Transmission mount was toast and has been replaced. Vibration remains.
I pulled...
'66 Belvedere II.
My ride height might be off. I think I measured the wrong points previously and now I'm all turned around and confused. The Service Manual photo is less than crystal clear. This may be ridiculously easy, but can somebody point on a photo and show me where I should be...
Does anybody have a 66-67 Mopar with the Clean Air Package still intact and operating?
I'm guessing the vacuum advance control valve was the first thing to go as many mechanics struggled to properly tune a CAP vehicle. But it'd be cool if somebody was still running one...
Putting pressure on the end of the stud with a jack and beating frame, lubricating the stud and beating on it, heating the housing around the stud—nothing worked yet.
I’ve seen people recommend special tools (pitman arm puller, ball joint pullers) on here, but I don’t see how one will fit this...
Has anyone had this happen to them? Torsion bar came out easy, but won’t go back in. The hex on the lower control arm isn’t lining up with the torsion bar. The rear of the bar is installed (see photo).
66 Belvedere. Any suggestions?
66 Belvedere II, 361, 2 barrel Carter carb.
Previous owner replaced the carb with a Carter BBD, 6-1887 stamped on top. Probably an updated version of the original. It’s similar to one in the original service manual. I noticed this adjusting screw on the back of the carb—does anybody know what...
I have one chrome trim piece that attaches to the top of the passenger side door panel. Goes to a 1966 Belvedere 2 door hardtop. I'd put it on my car, but already have one. Has one dent hear the back end and tiny bit of pitting in one spot.
I've got the annoying surge, or stutter, when cruising down the road with the accelerator steady (feels like it's pushing and releasing the accelerator over and over and over). Also, it won't hold time--the timing varies 2-3 degrees when you put a light on it.
The fuel pump, fuel-air mixture...
does anybody have, or know where I can get, the seat stop bumpers for the front bench seat for a 2 door hardtop 66 Belvedere? I'm still looking, but my searches have come up empty.
If you have these pieces, please let me know. Need 3 of the square one and 2 PAL nuts. The pal nut is 9/16” long and goes on a 0.20” diameter stud holding the rear quarter side trim with the circles. Thanks.
Anybody know where I can find these? There should be one on the front and back of the door. They're 1" x 1 1/2" plate with a stud and nut on it.
I saw this wanted add a few years ago, but the link isn't working and I couldn't find them on their website--it's cumbersome and and it doesn't look...
a previous owner bent the heck out of my seat back bottom brackets. How are these things supposed to go? Debating if I should try to bend them back or let them go an not use them.
1966 Belvedere II 2 door hardtop.
Does anybody know the correct parts for these rollers in the rear quarter windows for a '66 Belvedere 2 door hardtop? (see photos). The first two are a double roller and the empty track. Second one looks like a single roller completely contained in the track.
I've reached out to 3 vendors and...
Does anybody have tips on how to properly adjust door windows, or know where some guidelines are published?
Or somebody who can translate the service manual into understandable words and sentences?
