The studs I used were all long. I got them off of eBay if I remember correctly. I purchase a satellite hood and drilled the holes to make it an AG hood.
1972 RR with the 400 engine came with a blank white call out. I'm not completely sure but the 72 rr/gtx came with the 440 call out and the 340 also came with the engine designation also. Here's a pic of an all original 72 with a 400, courtesy of rjs's friend
One problem, everything is correct according to mopar diagrams but when it move the switch to close it opens and open is closed. Check my connection over and over again with no luck.
Well it's coming together finally. I just have to bolt the air box to the bubble , Ag door, decal on the door, actuator and hook up the green wire and I'm done.
Sometime when you see rare stuff for your car you have to pick it up. You'll always be able to sell it. The minute us don't buy it the part on the car will break.
I'll add another one, the strato vent water valve are a pita to find, but there is one on eBay right now for 375.00. I have one of these on hand . They have a tendency to leak out of the little screws on the top.
No fitment issues installing it to the hood just work cutting and drilling the hood. My body guy had issues with pin holes that kept showing up. I did the work putting the studs in and it was a pita, I was also told that the bosses were solid and most of them ended up being hollow. I had to fill...
That’s where I got my bubble. Make sure you have a good body man. It a nice piece but pin holes kept showing up. My guy has ALOT of time in it, I did the studs, marked the hood out, cut and drill the hood, installed the bubble and all AG parts. A lot of work but it is worth it in the end. Plus...
