As others have stated, chopping up an RT won't add any value to your build. It will piss off many enthusiasts though. Start out with a 318 car.

I think the owner could get $25k for it pretty easily. If you can get it for $20k or less it is better than money in the bank imo.

I had the same issue with mine. The tabs are just bent wrong you need to "adjust" them a bit.

These are all great suggestions especially bringing extra tires on rims. Many of these old tires are so rotten they wont pump up. You can also take a large baking sheet, set it under the flat tire and it will slide across the ground. This works well if you have a stuck wheel too.

Why is it easier to use an .035 wire for the subframe connectors? I thought it would be more likely to push through the thin metal on the floor pan?

If it is boiling the gas out of the carb try one of these insulators under the carb. It worked well for me.

Sorry to hear that you are selling your car. I have enjoyed reading your build and seeing the creativity that you put into it. It will be an easy project for the next person to get rolling down the road. Hopefully a member here buys it and we can see it done.
