Not sure if there is an existing thread for proven engine builds concerning the Gen III Hemi but figure it would be a decent resource as there is nowhere near the information out there compared to say, LS engines. I am currently building two Gen IIIs
Engine 1 - Stock 6.1L Hemi that has been in...

I have a RM-8073 scattershield for a BBM to T-56 application. I used it for mock up and decided to go different route. I have misplaced the bolts (of course)
Photo is a stock photo - I can dig it out of the shed and take more pictures this weekend but just putting feelers out
New = ~$1010.00...
Well guys I fail to make much progress on my 64 Polara - mostly due to the Russian thing, the Job thing, Corona thing... Anyway - Finally getting some small progress - got the 440 together and some induction mocked up.
This was a 1969 440 block, forged crank, forged pistons, and nothing...
Well I managed to score something I've been on the lookout for... a bare 6.1L block. I already have a 6.1L Gen III in my 68 Charger but wanted to build something a bit more aggressive so I finally got a base....
6.1L block, non-VVT... plan is as follows... "426" Stroker kit with...
Anyone on here know much about Demon carbs? (Prior to them being bought out by Holley)
I came upon a matched pair of Demons I will be running and am attempting to determine what I can as the owner didn't know too much. I have determined they are Mighty Demon cars of either 850 or 950cfm. The...
Hello guys - looking to start collecting some parts to keep moving forward on my 64 Polara. I am in the market for a fiberglass hood but can't seem to find a reasonable one anywhere.
Anyone know of a source? Also may be in the market for bumpers and fenders
I am currently looking for the trim that mounts to the rear of the passenger side door window on my 1964 Polara... currently mine is missing and was not present when I purchased the car. I am down in SoCal if it matters
I know a lot of this is subjective to the area I live in (SoCal) but is there any value to the things I will be removing from my '64 Polara - namely the following
- Tapered Axle 8 3/4 -- I know they have gone way of the Do-do bird and most people prefer the later and easier to work on style but...
So maybe I am just lacking on the whole research topic but looking through all the parts suppliers for these cars - I don't see anyone selling the foam for the rear seat of the 64 polara -- am i missing it somewhere?
Also - anyone know where to get the small oral trim piece for the front door...
So I don't have my 64 Polara in front of me but am looking at starting to buy some parts - looking at all the weatherstripping - I am used to my 68 Charger...
So I assume is that I need the following
- Windshield Gasket
- Rear Window Gasket
- Trunk gasket
- Door "roof" seals
- Door...
What are you guys running for replacement leafs on your 1964? Looking at the factory specs and they are 21" front and 35" rear... Later B body is 22/36 and A bodies are 20/35... so do you guys get replacement 1964 leafs or just run extended front hangers and run A body leafs?
Ok... I am in the market for a pair of carbs for an engine build... When the hell did carbs get so expensive???? All I need is a basic 750cfm mechanical secondary carb... ideally boost referenced.
Summit has the 750cfm 4150 series carbs for ~$600 each - not even accounting for...
I picked up a 742 case 3rd member when I got my recent acquisition (1970 B-body housing with axles) for my 64 Polara -- the guy gave me an empty 742 case with caps and adjusters but no guts. I know about building diffs in theory - but never built one in person. Anything crazy or odd I should...
So I am getting some things in motion to get my Polara heart transplant done - and I am questioning my K-member... it's a factory 64 K member but I am throwing in a 440 with an 8-71 on it... I know forward real-state is limited -- anyone done it?
I have thought bout going with a later K...
1964 Polara 500 is the car...
Anyone have factory finish listings for suspension components ?
Radiator core support get blacked out like on later B-bodies?
Is the factory non-console shifter the slightly "S" shaped one available?
Confirm that the trunk of these cars got grey spatter...
So... got a question -
I've read somewhere on here that the 1964 Dodge B-bodies, when sold for export, got gauge clusters from Plymouths - But the plymouth bezels (i've been told) have a different pattern on them - more fine vertical ribs - so Did the export cars just get the typical...
So I scored a set of bare TF240s for a screaming deal - just wondering if I should look at anything specifically quality control wise -
I plan on dropping them off at my machinist to be double checked but I like having an idea - if anyone has negative experience with the TF heads.
I'll be...
So I have a 4-speed console plate for my 64 Polara project (going to a 4-speed swap) and it has the nice big hole in it for the factory instrument.... Which begins my question
What originally went here? I assume a tach? I've seen other consoles with clocks and even a vacuum gauge... so...
Well - as the title states - anyone have any photos of a medium and/or dark turquoise 1964 Polara ? I am trying to figure out what color to go with but for some reason I am drawing a blank - Polaras all seem to be black, white, or red - and lots of colors just simply don't look right on...
