I have all stock suspension on my charger I just build, all new parts ofcourse
except for discbrakes and I have no problems but everywhere I read all negative things about it. You should upgrade everything for 1000 of $$$,
what will get better when all you do is occasional cruising?
How could...
After almost 3 years with my chargerproject it was time for the magic moment
last sunday, the first start-up of the strokerbuild. The car is a -68 R/T and
the engine is a 440 with a 500 strokerkit. All went well and now the final
assembly can be done so I can look forward to next spring.:yes...
So for my challenger vert Hemi clone build I bought a new block with
stock bore, new MP aluheads, new stock crank and the rockerassembly
from somebody who couldn't continue his project. Considering I want a
mild build with a shaker setup and powerbrakes I need some advice.
I was thinking...
I have lost one of the pivotchannels (according to the servicemanual)

Have had my strokerbuild for the charger ready approx 5 months now
but it will certainly be a month or 2 before I can start her up.
Do you guys turn your engine manually sometimes during a waitingperiod?

Since the vinyltop install went good I thought I should try the headliner
aswell, h**l, I don't have any choice since nobody around here seems
to be able to help me. So guys, please give me any tips, links or other good
advice. Are the sailpanelboards necessary to have? Can I make my own...
Getting ready for the vinyltop on my charger -68, nobody around here can do
it so the choice is easy:sFun_doh2: Anybody has any links to a good
instruction or something showing some good advice?
Thanks//Per
After spending the last 6 months with fixing our new house I'm glad
to say I can start on the charger again. rebuilding a former milkinghouse to
a garage took a while.

My rebuild 440 for the GTX has a strange problem, plugs are getting wet
when I try to start it when cold. It's about 38-40*F in the garage and
I have to disconnect the electric choke and hold full throttle to be lucky to start it. I have tried 3 different carbs and it's exactly the same story...
Would it be possible to purchase a 426 Hemi engine in parts to split
the cost over time instead of buying a crateengine? Where is the best place
to go to?
I'm gonna build me a 500 stroker for my -68 Charger and bought a
kit from 440source, #504. I will use the eddy 84cc heads and the comp
is calculated to 10.9. Isn't that a little bit to high for a cruiser with an
occasional burnout? I am also not a "tuner", having no friends or shops knowing...
I am building a stroker for my Charger, using eddy aluheads and engle K60
camshaft. Do I need to step over to adjustable rockers and if so why?
Anybody experienced with the ones 440source sell (200-1045), heard both
ways about them?
I am choosing between comp cams CL21-223-4 and CL21-224-4 for my
otherwise standard -69 GTX 440 auto. What difference would it be between
the 2 in my car if any?
I bought a new concours wipermotor for my -68 Charger but evidently it's a late car so it should have the one for 69-71. I guess the armsystem
differs since the outgoing axle of the motor is excentric on the -68 and
not on the -69-71. Any ideas?
Hello from a Swedish Moparfan living in Belgium. Have Had Mopars on
and off the last 30 years, do I regret selling some of them in the past.
Here is my -69 GTX, 440 airgrabber.
