I'm working on a '69 Coronet and I would like to know how the factory would have done the underside of the car. Did they paint them body color? Somebody told me there was overspray below the rockers but what else did the factory do? Thanks
I am restoring a 426 for a guy who wants all original parts in the engine. I have found 6 OEM pistons. I am in need of just 2 more. Must be .005 over and preferably for the left bank.
Hey guys, I need a recommendation. My 40 year old starter is finally getting a bit slow. I want to go to a mini starter but am not sure what brand would be best. I'm not looking for a real high end piece and compression is stock. I just need the brand that will give me dependable service.

I used to see this '65 Dodge run when it was new. It's a real factory superstocker. I remember at the end of the 65 or 66 season, as everybody was leaving the strip it sat by the entrance with a for sale sign on it. My memory has a few holes in it but I believe the asking price was in the area...
My '69 factory hemi fan is 18" and the blades are steel. But I noticed that the picture you posted has 3 rivets holding the blades. Mine has 4. Does that help?

If you like nostalgia racing there's a great annual event just outside of Buffalo, NY, at the old Lancaster Speedway. Now called Dunn Tire Raceway Park it has a half mile oval and an 1/8 drag strip. In the oval infield they have a huge car show and they race all weekend on the drag strip. This...
I had a '64 Belvedere post that I wish I's hung on to. So I really like the 64's. But I love the '65 Plymouths too. Come to think of it I really like the '65's. I also owned a '62 Dodge post. Damn this is hard! Ron
Being Mopar guys some of you may have already seen this site. But if you like old superstock cars these old photos are way cool.

Actually just last night my wife said she was feeling a little left out of the car thing. That was just after a guy asked me if I wanted to buy a '67 Dart. We'll discuss this one further I'm sure.
This is very true. They would much rather go to the drag strip than the mall. The daughter likes to shop but if given the choice a quarter mile of asphalt wins every time
The kids wanted me to post this pic. '73 Duster is my daughter's. It's a 360 automatic. The '84 Rampage is my 16 year old son's first project and is completely stock... for now... he has plans and it's all he talks about.
If you drop the whole control plate down... it's held in the dash with 4 screws, you'll see the plastic part is held in with two pressed on clips. Carefully pop 'em off so as not to break the tabs and you're in business.
