I’ve searched here several times and nobody answered my post a while back. I am putting front bars on my 63. The motor mounts were already cut off the k frame and it was previously modified.
I plan to do Fender Well headers. We already replaced the floors and bottoms of the firewall… so not...
Springs moved inboard, Caltracs. +1 split monos, rear sliders. MT 295/65 r15 on 15x10 5.5” back space.
This will be mini tubbed too, but this will be ‘Street combo’ Getting a mild roots blow 440
Hey guys tried searching, but no luck. I’m using the USCartool spring relocation and mini tub kit. Going with Caltracs and split monos and sliders.
My 67 R/T is a Super Stock spring car so I want to do something different
I here the sliders lower by 1/2”
Anybody doing this?

Sorry guys, I’ve searched for this topic here and read most of the threads.
Since Doug’s doesn’t make them any more… anyone have some for sale.
Saw a guy used the A body ones and modified the floor/ inner rear area and said they fit ok.
Any tips welcome. My floor pans need work anyways…
Hey guys, thought I was out of the project car game… I acquired the Jackpine Savage 67 R/T in a trade and I actually sold my 68 Satellite. Something I didn’t think I would do.
But my engine builder Gary is building me a 440 blower engine and I need something to put it in. So I bought this 63...
Hey guys. It’s been a while since I posted here. I recently have been going to the track with my 67 R/T. I had about 8 practice passes on 1/4 and 1/8 mile local tracks before attending a YouTube car event.
I went to the first NoNameNationals YouTube event Sept 30- Oct 1st at Jeffers Raceway in...
Got this car recently. Has been a drag car since 1969. Was running 11.45 1/4, 7.2 1/8. Current Engine is a 500ci low deck. Had OTB Edelbrock RPMs, Performer RPM dual plane, .510 lift cam.
pulled engine for new bearings, putting in an Ultradyne NF 69 cam. Heads getting ported and a port matched M1…
These are kinda beat like my car. Rears are 15x10 with 6” bs, fronts 15x3.5. Ordered Hoosier 29x12 slicks. 13.7 cross section. About 2 inches wider than the MT 295/65 r15s on 15x10 5.5 bs seen in this picture. I’ve got little over 16 inches of clearance.
This won’t be a dedicated Drag car. When it does goes out in public I want to run these seats as they fit the theme of the car. My roll bar will have a bar behind the drivers seat to attach the harness belts , and we are waiting to add the side shoulder bars. Has anybody ran the harness through...
I'm installing my Super Stock springs in my 1968 Satellite. Previously I switched the stock shocks with air shocks as a bandaid to get me to this point.
That was a real PIA. The upper shock mounts had 2 washers, one each side of the shock upper bushing. Maybe it’s me but took forever to push...
Super Beat should be back on her wheels by next weekend! Then it’s subframe connecters and roll bar...might not be driving this season, but dang i’m Stoked. The engine, and fab work are being done by local racing legend Gary Hedden of Magnum Superchargers out of Cedar Mn.
What shocks are you guys using with Superstock springs? I’m putting Caltracs and a Dana in the Coronet, but I’m putting the 8 3/4 suregrip with SuperStock springs in my Satellite.
Plan BEE
Starting a build thread here, I have been posting in the Racers Forum for some time now. Didn’t plan to go this deep. More info on my YouTube channel of the same call name as here.
Decided to keep my Satellite as a cruiser, so we dragged this HEEP home. I have the complete drive...
Gary is about finished tubbing this Satellite Wagon. ( he is not doing the rust repairs ) Then I’m next!!! But I couldn’t resist test Fitting my wheel. My narrowed Dana is 1” wider than this, and I’ll be using Caltracs
