Hi all,
I have a 68 standard gauge dash with a tachometer. Full electronic MSD ignition setup. Hooked up the tach per MSD instructions.
The tach seems like a reproduction (maybe OER). I can spot the green printed circuit board. So it should NOT need a tach adapter at all.
Without it shows a...
Hi fellow FBBO-Members!
I am doing the last steps and adjustments on my fully restored and stroked '68 Coronet before I leave my country for a journey to the US.

Hi all,

Need the measurements of the Dodge emblem placement on the sail panel on 68/69 Coronet, Superbees….

Hey!
Only found a thread here about this for a 4-speed car.
As stated in the title I am looking for detailed pics of the correct routing of the Neutral Safety Switch for a big block 727 automatic car (1968). Especially what wire clips were used and attached to.
In my case the NSS is a single wire.
What is the correct width for a power steering belt with original V-groove pulleys? I read from .41, .44, .47, .53 so now I am confused.
Also, the alternator belt has the same width as for the P/S?
It is a 383 without A/C.
I have the correct set of water pump housing to engine block bolts from AMK.
Going on a 68 383 block.
The set contains of
4x short bolts (2.7")
3x longer bolts all of different length (4.2", 3.6", 3.2")
1x washer
Can you please say me the correct position of each bolt and which bolt uses...
I have a 383 block (‘68) and fully disassembled, removed the brass plugs that were in and flushed the block.
I ordered the stainless steel freeze plug kit from 440source.
I dry fitted the plugs and some bores of the blocks are larger than others.
For example the one pictured is on the driver...
I can‘t decide on what carburetor size or brand to buy. I have read a lot but did not get a satisfying answer.
Heres my car:
1968 Coronet
383 stroked to 489
Sidewinder ported aluminum heads 310cfm intake, 1.5 aluminum rockers, 10.4:1 CR
Performer RPM intake
MSD pro billet distributor, MSD 6AL...
As the title says. Note: I need the “long-tick” version.
Color can be faded, I will repaint the face anyway.
Unfortunately on my original the plastic bushing/bearing was brittle and broke and unwund the spring. Now lost tension for the speedo needle.
Thanks.
Hi folks!
I came across this plastic guide or wedge or whatever you call it. It sits on the bottom of the rear door glass SS trim. I am not sure but I think its purpose is to “block“ the glass in the run channel and keep it from rattling when glass is fully lowered into the door. Or is this...
Hi,
Somebody here with a 1968 Coronet R/T or 500 who could help me out and measure the spaces between the "D O D G E" letters on the rear of the vehicle?
See on the pic below:
Measurement A: The space between the letters (edge to edge)
Measurement B: Length from bottom edge of letter to the...
Hi,
my plastic lens for the rear license plate light is brittle and cracked. It’s for a 68 Coronet and has oval shape. Lens only.
If you have something please hit me up!
Thanks!!
I made some stamps and will share my graphics free. You can use it to make stamps or whatever you want.. Download as PDF below.
Created from the original stamp (of my 68 non AC) and compared with the second pic from moparts:
Note the number "2" on the front cover.
Note: The typo appears...
I've spent quite some time searching for the right body plugs and their locations. The answers here and over dodgecharger.com didn't satisfy me in every part yet, so I try to visualize as simple as possible and I am still not sure about all.
If you purchase the Mopar licensed "mega body plug...
Hey guys,
...another what-cam-thread!
I am building a stroked 383 to 489 (.030“) engine, street application only with aluminum ported heads 84CC 310-315cfm, 1.5 rockers, EDE Performer RPM dual plane and atm 750 carb (update to 850 later), 1-7/8 headers. 10.5:1.
727 trans and 3.54 gears...
Did all my stainless trim polishing so far.
Now I am wondering because some people here polished their windshield wiper arms.
On my 68 they look dull. Dull or matt finish from factory if compared to the trim.
This does make sense to prevent any unwanted reflections.
What was factory correct?
Tried the search but didn‘t find the satisfied answer.
On the front suspension of my B body I found two types of castle nuts (as shown on photo).
I don‘t recall where the factory used the left type castle nut and the right.
And what was the reason or difference for each type?
I know new ones...
