Wow, make a guy feel old in a hurry, This pic is from the late 60s. Tried to remember my Mopars from over the years. Sure I forgot a few, but here are some of them. First new car was the '84 Daytona.
You might notice the Mopars missing from 1990 to 2012. My wife and myself both were employed...
This is a follow up to previous post looking for a body shop to work on my '67 Coronet. Thanks for all the responses. Life works in mysterious ways. After looking for a body shop for one year and posting here I got a phone call from a shop I talked to last summer.
This is always good for a...
I've had my '67 Coronet for a year and a half now and never imagined that I would have so much trouble finding a body shop who would work on the car.
In Saskatchewan we have 'government' insurance thru SGI, Saskatchewan Government Insurance. The only way you can insure a car here is thru SGI...
I recommend to everyone not to buy a disassembled car! 1967 Coronet R/T with 440 and heavy duty drum brakes.
Ok, the rear backing plates that came with the car are complete, but were not on the axle housing and have no self adjusting hardware. The front backing plates have nothing on them...
There have been a few discussions lately on what is correct for various items when trying to do a factory restore. I guess if your car is '68 or newer you can buy the 'big' book which has tons of information.
I have a '67 Coronet R/T. My question is what standards would be used to judge a car...
Hey all... '67 Coronet R/T with 440. Looking to replace rear springs with factory correct. Has anyone used the Mopar springs supplied by Chrysler? One would think they are factory correct but who knows. I see other companies advertising as factory correct replacement but they seem to be pricey...
Just come across this site for fender tag info. Says for Charger but seemed to do my code perfectly. Definitely, the easiest to use that I have seen. Of course, it has prob been listed here before. Doh.

Here is a question for you guys doing a complete factory restore. I know hyper-flex poly etc bushings are better, but would you go with OEM rubber bushings, because it is a factory restore? Or cheat just a little with poly for the better ride.
Thanks
Wanted to let everyone know I found the number correct distributor for my '67 Coronet 440 hp. Got it from The Dakota Connection for $100 and $25 shipping to Canada. Pictures look good and I think the price was very reasonable.
If you're looking for something you might give these guys a try...
Have a '67 Coronet R/T which has no chrome on the front fenders. Someone put on front fenders from a 500, I think, with chrome. I thought I could just weld the molding holes and fill, but not sure the profile is correct. The 500 fender looks flatter where the molding goes. Does anyone know it...
Specs call for heavy duty ball joints. Makes sense you want better ones then a slant six application. All ball joints I have seen have one number listed for all applications. Anyone have a number or know where I can get heavy duty ball joints.
Thanks.
Short report on my quarters. First the are not full quarters. They are for wheel well back to bumper and about half way up. I bought these from Classic Industries.
They are made in the US, reasonably priced (about $110) and most things at Classic are on sale most of the time. I am NOT a body man...
Looking for a distributor for my 67 Coronet R/T. I have the repair manual and it has separate distributor numbers for 'with clean air package' and 'without clean air package'. Does anyone know what this means and why would they require a different distributor?
Thanks!
Everyone knows it is impossible to find body panels for 1967 Coronet. Has anyone tried Morpart's panels, especially the one behind the rear wheel well?
Lots of people have referenced David Wise's B body book, which is for 68-70. Is this info accurate for my 67 Coronet or is there a similar...
Morning all. Hope everyone is ready for Halloween with their bright orange Mopars. I want to order all brake lines for my 1967 Coronet R/T 440 11 inch power brakes. The problem is the car is disassembled and all the front brake lines are missing. The brake line to the passenger side can route...
The R/T is not much to look at now, but just wait. I know she can not compare to the 440 six pack and hemi cars on the site, but car is solid and has a great history. It is a 440, auto with floor shift, posi, heavy duty power brakes and power steering. Gold with black vinyl top.
I have a...
Hey everyone! I have been lurking in the forum for about a month and decided it was time to jump in. I finally bought a 1967 Coronet R/T after a six year search. The car is completely dismantled and I want a factory restore. Yes, there will be some long nights ahead.
This is a great group and...
