    Bamm lifters/383

    Has anybody else run into the problem of bamm lifters hanging up and binding on block side of 1,2,7,8? I have a 383, and am experiencing this problem. Do you have to clearance the block? Any help would be appreciated.

    Main cap removal

    Ok, so I have a 383 with studded main caps. Having trouble getting them off. Any valuable suggestions on how to take them off without ruining bearings. Should I remove studs and just use bolts? Is there a tool to remove them?
