LOL. I don't think we should ask Arnold what it is but perhaps 007 knows ... it certainly looks like some kind of movie gadget. And if they don't know, why should I care ? :-) At least, getting ride of it will save me about 5 kg of weight on my car.

Anybody any idea what this thing is ? I pulled it of from my 1973 charger, hanging underneath the body right in the middle, somewhere around the backseat. It looks like a vibration damper for the body of the car. What function does it have ?

Hi guys, reading through this thread has been very helpful as I am just busy reassembling the steering on my 1973 charger. What puzzles me however is the function of the spring just on top of the steering coupler body going up to the steering column. What does it do ? Related to that, which one...
