First off pull the secondary boosters and measure the ID, which should be about .210-.216.....so the aforementioned is BS on the secondary side....on the primaries it is necked down, however there are two holes just Obote the base which also draw fuel. All that said, you have to figure the area...
IMO there's no good reason to use them. Drill them out and replace with the brass ones...if you have trouble setting the floats without spilling fuel, take an old oil bottle and cut the top off leaving a lip on one side that will slide under the bowl to catch fuel, set them with the plugs out...
