Think I got it. Used everyone's suggestions. Used Holley #20-7, welded extension to bracket to make it taller, and relocated bracket towards the year. Now have WOT with about 1/8" of throw to spare. Thank you, all. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your responses. Will not be able to get to my car until Monday. Still waiting for Holley part to arrive. Will try your suggestions.
Thanks again.
Thank you for quick reply. I tried a new bracket that you left link to. Did not come close to mounting with my manifold. If I was to disconnect cable from bracket, I am not able to pull/extend the wire part any more than pictured, Thanks again.
Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated. 1970 Coronet R/T with 440. I do not have enough throw in my cable to fully open carb. Edelbrock RPM manifold with Holley carb. There is nothing restricting gas pedal in interior. Probably need another 1/2"+ of throw.
Steve340, my horn works correctly as you described. It sounds continuously when I hook it up to wire terminal, not even installing wheel pad. Thanks for reply.
Couple of pics for Davek
I just installed steering wheel. When I connect horn wire from wheel, horn continuously sounds.
Relay is good. Am I missing an insulator somewhere? Also when horn button installed, do not have any push to it to activate horn. It is very rigid. 1970 R/T Coronet.
Thanks for any advice.
I installed volt meter and oil pressure gauge under dash, dead center to compliment non rallye dash gauges. Clean and simple look. Sorry, thought that I had pictures. Will post some next time I get to my car. Early next week.
Hello. Have 3 spoke steering wheel for 1970 coronet. I have repaired all the cracks. Would like to know what paint and colors were used to paint spokes and wood grain color. Thanks in advance.
The wiper washer switch has two terminals. One feeds the washer reservoir/pump, and the second terminal is fed by the 3 speed wiper switch; using jumper wire.
