What are you using to seal the pickup to the oil pan?

Thinking of putting a lower 1st gear in my 727 while freshening up. The car has cal trac and I thought someone said their car didn't like the lower 1st gear with cal trac. Any thoughts appreciated.

Finished for the season. Decided to try something different this year so went 6.50 index. A little bit of learning as such as slowing down the car and .04 pro tree foot braking. Time to start freshen up trans and converter. Hope everyone has a good winter.

1st post 1964 Belvedere 400 stroke to 451 cu. Dana with 4.56 and Cal Traks I am thinking the 60 ft is slow. Took off regular gas shocks (worn out) and installed Viking doubles on the front. Any thoughts?

1964 Belvedere 2 door coupe drag car new to me last year. 451 cu 727 and 4:56 Dana cal tracks 1st time out last year went 10.57. Second time out went 10.19 after some adjustments. Out once so far this year best of10.14 in the heat
