Hello, I am in the search of 68 Charger front fenders. Rust on the wheel lip is desired. Some dents are fine also. I don't want to cut restorable fenders. Let me know what you have. There has to be a bunch of these out there now that people are just replacing with new.
Welcome from another WI member. I am not I here much, more on FABO, but nice to see another WI anywhere. What a nice looking car and what a wonderful present.
Thanks! Just meant it really comes alive at 3000. Seems to all come together. I have a 3000 stall and 3.91 also. It starts excellent and drives perfectly at all rpm.
I have a similar 440 low compression motor, the Whiplash 440 cam, but used a tunnel ram, twin 660 center squirter carbs, and fenderwell headers. I would be very interested in knowing what it makes. It pulls very hard at 3000 right to 6500 (I stopped there).
I am in WI. I have a Cheetah VB with no low band apply now. I know there are issues when it comes to burnouts, remembering to upshift before letting out of the gas. Safety concerns with sprag.
Welcome from Fond du Lac area. My 68 is really bad too, but the direction I am going it kinda helps me. Vans Auto in Waupun, WI is a great source for restoration parts. Duane and Tom are great to work with.
