Yes I guess that’s where the torsion bars attach correct? Through the trunk hinges then into that welded in metal with the three slots.

What about the support where the torsion bar inserts, is that just the chassis or another piece?

So the entire mechanism is really the two torsion bars and the sliders correct?

So good order is to do headliner first, then inside window trim, then butyl tape and rear window, then outside trim?

Hi all, what is the mechanism and where can I find it, to prop open a 68 charger trunk lid? my trunk weighs a ton right now when I open it, because only the hinges are connected. What else is necessary, springs?? Can’t find anything on this! Thank you for any help.

There’s no holes for trim clips on bottom but I guess I’ll have to drill some? And what do u mean install inside trim first? You mean the trim clips? Thanks!

Hi all, how do you install a rear windshield on a 68 charger? What adhesive do you use? Is the lower sill trim fitted onto the window before install? I’ve installed trim clips but the lower sill apparently doesn’t need them? thank you for any help!
