That looks like it would clear the license plate for sure. However the mounting holes in my bumper are further apart (and they match the bracket). On my bumper, the license plate opening is a slightly different shape. I wonder if I have some funky non OEM bumper?

Does anyone have a picture of how this mounts to the bumper? Its supposed to fit a 69 B Body but I cant see how it mounts to the bumper without getting in the way of the fold-down license plate. Are there other versions of this bracket specific to 69? Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question!

Thanks 451 Mopar! I hadn't thought about a piece-meal approach to correcting the issues. I was going to redo the whole car wiring because most of the wires are brittle, the insulation is worn, and the fuse box and other connectors are rusted and or brittle. As for the swap, it will be a 2016...

Installing new door panels with water shields. The shields didn't come with any tape or other method of attachment. Are they just friction fit in between the door and door panel once snapped in place? Or should I tape them to the door prior to installing the panel? If tape, what kind? Thanks,
