Digging through the stockpile and found these. Original 15x7 trim rings and they are the 3" version. Don't know where I even got these but they were up in the barn for years! The three are in different condition:
#1 The best one of the bunch. I would consider this one could go right on a daily...
Her are a couple secondary hood latches for a b-body. I was actually searching for one for my '67 GTX and these were the first two attempts. The sellers swore they fit a '67 GTX. Well, the GTX uses a 4" long catch and these are both 5" long. One has a longer "hand-hold" then the other. Maybe '66...
Had this cluster sitting on the shelf for years and I didn't spend a lot of time cleaning it for the pics! lol. There is a notch missing in the lower left corner of the surround. The wiper switch is present and the heater controls and face plate are there and in nice shape. Probably best used...
Flip gas cap and trim ring bezel for a '69 -'70 Dodge Charger. Good driver-quality original piece. Will clean up nicely with some buffing.
$100 O.B.O Will Ship.
Thanks!
It's been pretty quiet on here lately so I figured I would start an argument. Lol. Need help identifying this air cleaner. I know it came from California and has a cool "Kar-Kit" sticker on it which was a emission control system that could be added. Thanks in advance for the discussion!
I am in need of a '67 GTX flip gas cap trim ring. Doesn't have to be perfect. Somehow mine grew legs and walked off. I have all the other pieces. Thanks!
Has anyone considered or added an additional throttle return spring to there ride to serve as a safety feature? I have seen the "spring inside of a spring" setups before on some more modern vehicles. Just seems weird that the single spring is the only thing holding the throttle plates from...
Just like the title says....
I spend my free time trolling around the interwebs looking at random Mopars, discussion forums, auctions and classic car dealer's sites. After paying close attention to the B Bodies, especially the '67 GTX's, it has got me wondering how rare or scarce my '67 GTX...
Finally, after almost 2 years of scrounging, accumulating and assembling parts...... I was able to drop the 440 in the GTX! Hopefully in the next couple weeks everything will be buttoned up and we can perform the break in. It is -40 degrees with the wind chill today in central WI and a good day...
Another stumper to me...
Got my 727 back from the rebuilder. Ordered the correct black, 32 tooth drive gear for the speedo and when I went to grab and install the pinion.....the only markings to clock it are for 21/25 tooth drives. Never saw one like this before. The chart in the Chrysler...
Getting close to getting my GTX up and running and need a few more parts. I am looking for a useable core radiator #2785934 or even a #2785936 will work for me. I am located 30 miles from Glen Ray in Central WI and plan on having them restore it.
Thanks guys!
I know there are a lot of threads on torque converters but I am looking for some advice. I am getting ready to put the 440 and the 727 back in the '67 GTX and I know nothing about converters. The car has a Sure Grip diff but the gear ratio tag is no longer on it. I see there are several...
Good morning,
We are in the process of putting together a '67 440HP for one of the GTX's. When I bought the car it had a 383 in it and I eventually found the correct C440 HP stamped core but it came tore apart and in a box. Not all the parts were present. The engine builder has the rotating...
Recently I posted in the lost and found two broadcast sheets that were in my '67 GTX convertible. Both were in the seats and did not match my VIN. Last night I pulled the seats to remove the filthy carpet and could not believe my eyes! Unreal after 54 years under the driver's feet and the...
I have come across a few broadcast sheets found in cars that I recently purchased but don't belong to the cars. Let's find their homes!
RP23H77122284 1967 Plymouth Satellite-2 door, 383, 4bbl (sheet is immaculate)
RP27H77129685 1967 Plymouth Satellite Convertible, 383 4 bbl (sheet is 90%)...
I am close to getting my engine back for the '67 GTX and I still need to source a couple parts one of them being the oil pan. Are the pans identified by the three big digits stamped into them on the flat area adjacent to the sump? If so, what is the correct one for the '67 440HP engine? Thanks!
Ok, I know this has been discussed at length on many forums/ pages there never seems to be responses by the OP's how they fixed the issue. Here is my situation:
1974 Satellite. Car had been sitting for 10 years. Started and ran good. Fuel gauge was buried below "E". Temp gauge would slighty move...
Did a little digging to find out why my wipers were not working. Well, popped the black vent covers off and all the wiper linkage bars were laying in the cowl, missing all the bushings. Does anyone offer a complete kit to re-bush these so I don't have to search for individual parts? Even the...
