On my 72 Satellite, it seems I has a new fuel tank (not from me) but only has 1 line going to the carburetor. The rest of the lines appear just to be open, not connected to anything. I know when I turn off the car after 30 seconds or so, I hear this "clunk" like the gas tank could either there...
I am about to do the interior of my car, I want to sand the roof and put in a new headliner. However it seems the roof brace isn't attached to the roof and appears to be bent down a 1 1/2 or so. Is that going to be a problem when installing headliner??
Also... this is going to be a lot of...
I want to put a Tuff Wheel on my 1972 Satellite.
I found a can for the steering wheel that says it's for a 1970 Cuda (E-Body) Will this work on a 72 Plymouth?
Matter of fact all of the ones on E-bay say E-body.
Or can someone direct me to the correct one? Thanks!
Thanks!
Ok, first off, I have a 1972 Satellite.
The heater fan never worked, and I don't think any of the vents work either that seem to be running by vacuum lines?
It did have air conditioning, but I removed it for a cleaner looking engine bay, also I have an aftermarket dash, so the larger faceplate...
Hi!
I have seen a 15" Tuff Wheel and a 14" Tuff Wheel, anyone know what the original diameter is supposed to be? Is there really a steering difference anyhow?
I have a E-Bay one that is 15" but kind of has a tough plastic feel to it, I think I'd like something softer. The Leather I think is...
Hello,
I'm about to buy new headliner for my 72 body.
I see on Legendays website they also have insulation, and sound proofing.
The sound proofing is $200.00.
What is actually the best way about going about this? Is the insulation necessary, is the soundproofing helpful?
Thanks!!
I have a 1972 b-body.my rear bumper isn't in bad shape but should get re-chromed, and new tail lights.
However, I'm unsure of the price to rechrome a bumper, and new tail lights are about $600.00.
Or AMD makes 1971 B-Body rear bumpers (not 1972). I could just go with the 1971 new bumper...
Just wondering if anyone has done a study on this? I have 15x8 Stock(ish) steelie rallye rims at the rear now (center caps and trim rings and 275/60/15 Tires), but spin pretty easily, thinking about getting 15x10 rims with larger tires for better traction, however would that extra weight slow...
I am looking for a stroker 400 engine (I already have headers, and bellhousing for that block)
I am wondering for a good engine builder. I see some on E-bay but who knows what you're getting there, and Blueprint engines only seems to carry small blocks.
I did find a local place here in...
I have converted my Auto on the floor to a 5 speed, I have added a new Autometer dash cluster and other odds and ends. Is it good to save these old stock parts, or to sell them, and try to recoup some of the money from the new parts? Maybe keeping the old parts might be useful if I ever sold the...
I seached the webs and haven't found another 71-72 B-body like it yet... probably is some, but shows it can be done!
When they say it's a complete different car, it sure is!
Just wondering, is it possible to hook up a light to go on at a certain RPM? Most of the RPM lights I've seen are big and bulky. I can understand how those are set up, pretty much same as a tachometer. I just want a LED to come on in the dashboard at a certain RPM.
Any ideas?
I have RPM Heads which states - "power from 1500 to 6500 rpm"
And a Lunati - 10230703 which states - "un-equaled power to 6200 RPM"
Lift: .494''/.513''
I have a somewhat stockish valve train with Mancini - "hardened" stock type rockers, chromoly push rods.
and a totally stock bottom end with...
There is no snow on the ground, but I have seen areas where they have salted the roads in case of ice. I need to take my b-body to the shop for an upgrade on the car.
They did say they can trailer it, it's not a big deal... (for a cost) However a friend of mine thinks I'm being too picky, and I...
Hello,
I just installed a new Instument cluster with gauges in my car, but the old clips are so old and bent out of shape they just keep falling out of place or fall out completely, and I lost a few of them.
Anyone know where I can buy new ones, or have the proper size that I can find them? I...
This is an idea I have been messing with, swapping, my auto for a 5-speed Tremec.
This is a nothing matches 1972 Roadrunner Clone SSP.
I'm doing this purely out of enjoyment, but wondering if maybe it would increase the value or not really?
It's a drivers car, with new paint. Probably worth...
So, i bought the new instrument panel gauges and everything worked for 214 miles, then the speedometer quit working.
I really hate taking that dash apart but ok, I'll do it again. Tried a new ground still didn't work. So just as a curiosity while driving I was touching to what thought...
I was just wondering what the normal operating temperature should be for a Big Block 400 with RPM aluminum heads.
I have read that aluminum heads do have a tendency to run hotter than Cast Iron. However, mine car seems to run around 220 degrees. To me that seems hot.
It sits pretty steady at...
