    Thank you two for the feedback, I found where the long bracket goes, and you were right it was definitely a block to transmission bracket, it mounts at the bottom of the bell housing to a hole on the block just above the starter.

    Thank you Mike, I'm looking through the book now and at the transmission and block to see where it attaches, I don't see a place for it though. I'll keep looking, I have to be missing something. Thanks for the input.
