2024 Winter Nationals
TF=Steve Torrence
FC=Matt Hagan (I might have to switch sometime. I think Austin Prock is going to have a hell of a good year with Dads tuning expertise)
PS=Erica Enders
Good luck everybody!
Seems like an amateur build, it wouldn't be a bad idea to inform the engine builder of his mistakes so he can learn from it before he messes up another good 440.
Finally time to go Drag Racing!!
Gator nats 2024
TF=Steve Torrence (I'm very interested in how Tony Stewert runs, he's a good guy)
FC=Matt Hagan
PS=Erica Enders
PSM=Hector Arana Jr
Good luck everyone!
Life is short, do what makes you smile. My 69 R/T has a big hole cut in the hood with a bigass 871 blower pushing up out of it, yeah I maybe lost some value but I'm the happiest sumbitch around when I fire up that 440 making 900+ hp!
Chiefs fans thrive off the haters! I love this ****, You can hate them, you can joke about them, you can make fun of the players girlfriends, you can question them, but you still have to deal with them! The best damn football team in the world is.....The Kansas City CHIEFS!!!!
This is an interesting thread, I'm getting real close to an early retirement thanks to a very good pension plan and 30 years of commitment. I have alot of hobbies and plenty of old hotrods to toy with but wouldn't mind working very part time. For me it would be just a few days a week on my...
"Beers ago" was one of my favorites along with "I love this bar" and " Beer for my horses" and many other hits Toby mastered. He was played often on the jukebox in the bar I used to own. If I get time later today I just might roll into that old Tavern and lift up a red solo cup of beer for Toby...
It don't sound too serious, has to be kickdown linkage or cable which ever you have must have slipped out of adjustment or something physically is not letting it return properly. Check adjustments make sure nothing is lose and exercise throttle linkage by hand with engine off, have somebody...
As these old hotrods get older so do the guys that specialize in them. Good shops are getting rare and thats not going to change. I'm fortunate enough to know how to work on them so I do my own builds. If you plan to stay in the hobby for a long time I would suggest learning how to rebuild...
I agree. I personally think the frontend of a 69 Coronet R/T looks 10x better than the roadrunner front but I'm bias, I own a 69 R/T. As for the car in question, I would agree with Richard on high 30's to low 40's.
Like them or not, it takes a hell of a big and brave man to handle one at WOT for a full pass! I think they are fun to watch but motorcycles are my thing, love my Harleys.
Nice RR, without seeing it in person I'd say for a 383 automatic car somewhere in the mid 40's depending on paint quality. I've been shopping around for awhile now for a clean 69 RR for a future purchase but for me it has to have a 4-speed which seems to add several grand.
