    64 dodge polara, 383 I'm replacing this carter afb with edelbrock 1405 carb. Whats this device on the pass side of carter carb? (Red arrow) It seems that the new carb covers this actuator. I haven't determined if the edelbrock needs this. Thanks

    Just pulled engine & trans, I noticed tunnel mods that look like they were performed with cutting torch. Could this have been done in Hamtramck? Or is it post assembly mod? Images taken from below shifter access hole. Thanks. Dan

    Based on the flexing characteristics of my 64 polara Body, I'm considering welding "subframe" connectors between the front and rear rails. Does anyone have experience with similar body structure stiffening actions?
