    what would be better and more power, non ethanol 90 with 30* total timing or ethanol 93 with 33* total. any more timing than 30 or 33 will cause pinging.

    they say the ground strap darker burn should be closer to the bend. so is mine to cold of a plug because it's toward the tip ? 440 9.5 compression xr5 ngk plugs.

    what a difference off idle and any thing under 15 mph with AVS2 800cfm compared to the old 750 carbs. sometimes i would get the off idle stumble and less power with the old carb.

    testing on a 67 Newport mild 440 rebuilt with posi 294 gears. stock 11 inch 383 hp converter. don't let the 294 gears fool you burns the tires off the line and has lot of bottom end. makes power from idle to 5200 rpms revs to 6000 with out falling on it's face. never had the stock iron intake...

    if you have a tight quench pistons up high with a good combustion chamber like close chamber 915 heads would you need more fuel [jetting] or less to make power. am thinking it burns more efficient so it would need and handle more fuel ?

    pretty sure it a rpm edelbrock 440, numbers on bottom 19409 and 4983. will cutting center down hurt bottom end ?
