What would be the best glue or epoxy to adhere this plastic bulb casing to the aluminum housing on a Rallye dash? This is on a 69 Bee.
The company that restored it evidently didn’t use what was needed to create a good bond, two of them have come loose.
TIA
Have been having problems with USPS lately getting anything on time. Purchased a rear tail panel from a member here and it was shipped April 1. Has been stuck per the attached pic for about a week. I’m getting concerned that it is lost.
I have a terrific lady mail carrier who is helping me...
Pic from the internet. I have the bracket and part of the switch but the plunger was missing. Need for my 69 Bee.
I mistakenly bought a switch off eBay that was for the wrong purpose, should have looked more carefully. Pic of that and part number attached if anyone needs it
Pic 1 - what I...
1969 Dodge Super Bee w/ factory air…
See pic….Is there a flex duct that goes between these in the middle ac vent (Rallye dash)? If so where could I source?
I have new duct for the end vents, could buy online. Have not seen what would bridge the gap here. TIA.
69 Bee 4 speed with factory air
For those experienced in replacing the entire interior I am looking for advice based on your experience I now have my dash frame and other metal parts painted the correct Baltic Blue Suede (mixed by Instrument Specialties) and am getting ready to assemble on...
On waiting list (supposedly) to have original compressor on my 69 Bee restored, but doubt they will get to it. Original Air and they restored my Heater AC box nicely, but in my experience their communication has become less than acceptable. Any recommendations for other shops?
I am a little ways away from getting the mechanical going again in the restoration of my 69 Super Bee, but looking ahead a bit what brand, quality, digital / analog timing light do you recommend? It has literally been decades since I used one, probably back in the 70's on my A12 Bee. Had a...
I am not far away from installing my heater / ac box that was restored (well over a year ago now). Controls and other parts restored as will. Problem is, while I marked each one when I removed it the marks disappeared during the restoration (not by me, professionally done with new heater core...
69 B Body with AC (Super Bee). Anyone make replacement parts or use something flexible for this? I can repair but prefer to replace the fabric etc if possible. I also need or will have to fabricate the j bolts that hold it to the cowling.
Having some fitment issues on my dash frame. Has been out of the car a good while now, and I am putting back in to mock up everything prior to painting it (btw finally found the correct color with some texture, Instrument Specialties mixed me a quart - not cheap but confident it will be...
For my 69 Dodge Super Bee........The guy who painted by car and did the body work (B7 - did a great job) volunteered to paint my dash frame, steering column, etc. He and the guy at the paint store decided the color should be B5. It looks good but the more I think about it and try to look at...
In the restoration of my 1969 Super Bee with AC, I had (I thought) concluded that the previous owner (long deceased) simply acquired non AC middle dash pad and covered up the AC vent. I later discovered that the radio, thanks to experts on this forum, is a 1968 (radio is beyond repair). It was...
Dumb question I know, but all of this was out of my 69 Bee when I purchased it Original air rebuilt the heat/ac box some time back, and I have been sourcing other parts, having the vacuum switch rebuilt etc. All is vacuum operated but for the life of me I don't know where that vacuum comes...
69 Super Bee Restoration. The interior has been like remodeling a building, the more I took out, the more I see that needs to be done. Even the wiper pivots were froze, brake/clutch pedal assembly rusty, etc. all removed/restored with new bearings (clutch pedal) even had to replace the clutch...
Media blasted this clutch push rod, then noticed the crack. Ordered another and it is same length but straight. So I’m guessing this has some pressure on it at some point.
Shaft opening in new master cylinder is slightly larger than the old one. See photos Will this work or do I need to resource another master cylinder? If so, where can I get an OEM looking one…?
Old one tight (normal). New one loose.
Thanks
Have these chrome pieces for the N96 Hood. They are fair as is, but I’d like to look into having them rechromed. I just had Tri City do bumpers but I don’t think they do these small parts.
Anyway, can buy new aftermarket for $180 plus tax shipping etc but prefer to have these redone...
Some months back I ordered a new two speed wiper motor, the illustration looking identical to the original, but what arrived was an after market. There is no screw hole for the ballast resistor so I used the same one as the grounding strap, putting the resistor to the top of the motor, only...
