got this from an older gentleman , who took it out of something a long long time ago . he does not quite remember what it came out of . possibly a 64 plymouth , but could have been from any of the big three . not too sure about the shifter knob with all those threads left , and the shift pattern...
ok , i replaced the water pump with a newer MOPAR one that a friend had . he said it might be a high flow type . i did not fit as the original . the fan bolts were bottoming out on the pumps housing . on the original , the housing is thinner there and the bolts don't interfere . no big deal...
I know its been awhile , but i finally got around to it . i have the small trw . it was leaking between the pump and housing . the original o-ring seal was very hard and so old it was almost square . it took me awhile to get a new o-ring . there was not any seal shops in my area . so i ordered...
well , its not the bolts either . its the pump itself , coming out the weep hole , onto the bottom bolt area . i forgot about that . does anyone know what would cause coolant to come out there ? bearings ? seals ? both ?
