Whelp, Hemi is out for a cam change. Trans will be gone through cuz it is already out. Might as well do the hydraulic throwout bearing too. Need a few opinions on what kit to use. Maybe the kit from Brewer’s? Thanks in advance. Scott
Hello all,
I have a 69 SBee that was a 383 car and now sports a Ray Barton Hemi. I believe it has Schumacher engine mounts to adapt the Hemi. There is less than 1/4 inch clearance on the passenger side between the valve cover and the inner fender well. Is it normally this friggin close? I...
Need recommendations for a rebuild near 07748 in New Jersey. DO not want to ship my trans out but can deliver within maybe 3 hours from my home. Looking for a VERY reputable person to do the work. Thanks in advance Scott
Who besides rcrmetalfab makes a 426 Hemi engine cradle? Yea, I know many of you make them….not what I am asking. WHO makes them for sale besides rcrmetalfab. Thank in advance Scott

Have a 69 Super Bee with a one wire alternator and a Dakota Digital dash. Have a few specific questions. Where did you run the one wire from the alternator? Two what wire goes to the positive ammeter terminal on the back of the dash? Thanks Scott
I see when you have an 2x4 inline intake there are provisions to run a PVC valve. I have a Barton engine with a crossram with two breathers. Yep, trying to help get rid of leaks. I look at every cross ram engine they build and FHO and they all have two breathers. So am I to think that a PCV...
So doing a rope rear main seal in my Hemi in the car….yea I know. . So I decided to drop the crank shaft a td to help that situation. The rear main cap is out. The others are loosened and caps are down an 1/8 or so. Yep the side bolts are out too. Crank has not dropped. Am I missing...
Is the main bearing journals (Molnar 426 Hemi crank) AND the area where the rear main seal resides the same diameter? Not looking for it looks like it is, think so, etc. Would like if somebody could either point me to this information OR can confirm it for me by measuring their crank. Thanks...
Have a 69 Bee with a Barton Hemi with 730 hp at the crank. Had a rear main seal leak and yep quite a bit of oil in the scatter shield. Took the trans out to take a look and think I better replace stuff from what I see. Looks like some oil got on the outer edges of the disk and it very sticky...
Like it says I am looking for a stock 1969 Coronet Super Bee steering column main shaft. Splines need to be in good shape as well as the threads.
Thanks in advance,
Scott
So mine was shortened (not by me) and now that mine is too short after I went to a Borgeson box I need a stock one. Mine is approximately 37 inches which is too short. Can I use a shaft from ANY B Body 68-70 whether stick or Auto?
Thanks in Advance,
Scott
Hello guys,
I bought a 69 Bee with a RB Hemi a year ago and been working out the bugs. Beautiful car but some of the things done will make you shake your head so now I question EVERYTHING. Since I am a Chevelle guy some of this is foreign to me coming over to MOPAR. Car was built in 2014, had...
Whelp I was doing some steering stuff and I am adding a new Borgeson box. I figured while have the column down and removing it I would replace the turn signal switch. I ordered one from Dan’s. Then while disassembly I realized the wonderful people who built the car never took this apart to...
So I bought a car a year ago with a Hydroboost brake system. The brakes work great. However, the car always steered like crap. Feels like a manual steering car. The car was never aligned so I chalked it up to that. Had that done and it still sucks. Awhile ago I checked the brake fluid and...
So I bought a 1969 Super Bee almost a year ago. Beautiful car, great powertrain. Fixing some dumb stuff and going over it. The car had NO heater core, nothing, no heater box or any of the parts necessary to get heat. Everything was blocked off under the dash. The car runs fine BUT I like to...
Whelp my name is Scott and I live in New Jersey. I am 51 and have been around cars my entire life. First car was a 1964 Chevelle SS Convertible. After many years of ownership I just sold it around a month ago. I wanted something different and it had to be a HARDTOP. My SS was a 496 BBC...
