    My original 68 Roadrunner decore panel did not come with a colored bird decal. I bought a new finish panel from the Dodge garage in the late 70s and that panel came with the colored running bird.

    Has anyone put aluminum heads on a small block?

    I’ve done it and regretted it. Wasn’t worth it. Went back to stock. I guess it depends on what you’re after. I just want an easy running 340.

    I just bought the Motorcraft lube on eBay for $9 a bottle and that included shipping. I put it in all sure grip units.

    The mid and late 70s was a great time for bargain Mopars. 1968 Roadrunners and SuperBees were easy to find and most were under $1500. Congrats on hanging on to your bargain!

    A few more photos. Fender tag removed by owner to thwart the thieves who stole so many other parts. He’s looking for it. Clean title. Dash and gauges are in the garage as are the red kick panels and A pillar covers. Floor panels look good. Haven’t been in the trunk yet.
